Ways to Get Involved

Donate Funds: Tax-deductible giving options range from honor and memorial gifts to stock transfers, planned gifts, and our "Partners in Sharing" monthly donor club. Click here to learn more about the ways you can financially support the work of the Food Bank.

Donate Food: If you work in the food, restaurant or hospitality industry, please consider donating your overstocked, short-dated or unused food. We also invite businesses, schools and organizations to conduct food drives.

Volunteer: We rely on more than 15,000 volunteers every year to fulfill our mission. Inspect and pack food, work in community gardens, sort school supplies, lend office assistance or help at special events. Click here to see a current listing of the most needed volunteer openings.

Become a Food Bank Partner Agency: Do you work with an organization that feeds people in need? If your organization is registered 501(C)3 with the IRS and does not already utilize the Food Bank as a resource, you should inquire about becoming a partner agency.

Get Help

The Food Bank does not provide direct aid, but rather works in cooperation with a network of community based nonprofit partner agencies that serve individuals and families in need.

If you are hungry or otherwise in need of assistance, please call United Way's 211 "First Call for Help" (Dial 2-1-1 or, if you are outside metro Atlanta, call 404.614.1000) for a listing of organizations in your area.

Click here to visit United Way Atlanta's 211 Web site for more information and helpful resources.
