Donate Services

Our Currently most needed food donation items.

At the Atlanta Community Food Bank, our food donors form the backbone of our organization. With the help of the food and hospitality industries, businesses, worship centers, and individuals, we recover excess food to distribute to nonprofit partner agencies with feeding programs. Here's how you can make a difference.

"Giving food is so easy we've ingrained it within our organizational structure. It just makes sense." -- Food broker

Individual Food Drives

If you want to bring a personal product donation (either as part of a food drive or as an individual donation), click here to see how you can do this.

Hunger never takes a holiday or goes on vacation -- you can make a huge impact anytime by conducting a food drive. It's simple and easy. Whether you want to hold a drive in your neighborhood, office, or school, we'll help you with the right materials. Hospitality Industry

Through the Atlanta's Table project, we recover excess prepared foods from caterers, hotels, and restaurants. One of the first programs of its kind in the nation, Atlanta's Table now has more than 200 donors. To learn more, go to Donating Made Simple. You can also review the federal and state Good Samaritan food law, which protects food donors from liability.

Food Industry

If you're in the food industry, strongly consider donating your overstocked or short-dated food. If you are a broker, manufacturer, distributor, grocer, retailer, produce market, food show, food hauling firm, or reclamation center, please contact our Product Procurement Manager Sarah Robertson at sarah.robertson@acfb.org, or call 404.892.3333 ext. 1233.

Businesses

Businesses can help the Atlanta Community Food Bank by participating in food drives, corporate challenges, and Atlanta's Table. Click here to learn how to host a food drive, including links to setup information, materials and contacts, or click here to learn about volunteer opportunities.

Individual Donations

The process is simple. You can come by the Food Bank any day, M-F, during our business hours 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Tell the receptionist you are here to make a "walk-in" donation and a staff member will be assigned to assist you to unload your vehicle and prepare a donation receipt for your records.
